Jennifer JareauJennifer "JJ" Jareau is a special agent who was the BAU's former liaison with police and media officials and is a current behavioral profiler. JJ grew up in a small town. She graduated, as valedictorian, from East Allegheny High School near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she was the captain of the varsity soccer team her senior year and earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh. She also attended Georgetown University, it was there that she heard a lecture made by David Rossi and she decided to join the FBI.
